And Dauid and all Israel played before God with all their might, both with songes and with harpes, and with violes, and with timbrels & with cymbales and with trumpets.
So Heman, Asaph and Ethan were fingers to make a sounde with cymbales of brasse,
And he appointed certaine of the Leuites to minister before the Arke of the Lorde, and to rehearse and to thanke and prayse the Lord God of Israel:
And Zadok the Priest and his brethren the Priestes were before the Tabernacle of ye Lorde, in the hie place that was at Gibeon,
So Dauid and the captaines of the armie separated for the ministerie the sonnes of Asaph, and Heman, and Ieduthun, who should sing prophesies with harpes, with violes, and with cymbales, and their nomber was euen of the men for the office of their ministerie, to wit,
And they were as one, blowing trumpets, and singing, and made one sounde to bee heard in praysing and thanking the Lorde, and when they lift vp their voyce with trumpets and with cymbales, and with instruments of musicke, and when they praysed the Lord, singing, For he is good, because his mercie lasteth for euer) then the house, euen the house of the Lorde was filled with a cloude,
And Iehoiada appointed officers for the house of the Lorde, vnder the handes of the Priestes and Leuites, whome Dauid had distributed for the house of the Lorde, to offer burnt offrings vnto the Lord, as it is written in the Law of Moses, with reioycing and singing by the appoyntment of Dauid.
And Hezekiah commaunded to offer the burnt offring vpon the altar: and when the burnt offring began, the song of the Lorde beganne with the trumpets, and the instruments of Dauid King of Israel.
Aswell the singers as the players on instruments shall prayse thee: all my springs are in thee.
Praise the Lorde, because he is good: for his mercie endureth for euer.
The Lord will performe his worke toward me: O Lorde, thy mercie endureth for euer: forsake not the workes of thine handes.
They sing to the sounde of the viole: they inuent to themselues instruments of musike like Dauid.
