The beginning of the Gospel of Iesus Christ, the Sonne of God:

These things were done in Bethabara beyond Iordan, where Iohn did baptize.

Vntill the day that hee was taken vp, after that hee through the holy Ghost, had giuen commaundements vnto the Apostles, whome hee had chosen:

And with great power gaue the Apostles witnes of the resurrection of the Lord Iesus: and great grace was vpon them all.

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great saluation, which at the first began to be preached by the Lorde, and afterward was confirmed vnto vs by them that heard him,
