Because sentence against an euill worke is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the children of men is fully set in them to doe euill.

(4:19) It is thou, O King, that art great and mightie: for thy greatnesse is growen, and reacheth vnto heauen, and thy dominion to the endes of the earth.

The Lord of that promes is not slacke (as some men count slackenesse) but is pacient toward vs, and would haue no man to perish, but would all men to come to repentance.

And I gaue her space to repent of her fornication, and she repented not.
