Then Esau sayde vnto his father, Hast thou but one blessing my father? blesse mee, euen me also, my father: and Esau lifted vp his voyce, and wept.

For howe can I go vp to my father, if the childe be not with me, vnlesse I woulde see the euil that shall come on my father?

The Lorde graunt you, that you may finde rest, either of you in the house of her husbande; when she kissed them, they lift vp their voice and wept.

Then Dauid and the people that was with him, lift vp their voyces and wept, vntill they could weepe no more.

For how can I suffer and see the euil, that shall come vnto my people? Or howe can I suffer and see the destruction of my kinred?

And I will powre vpon the house of Dauid, and vpon the inhabitants of Ierusalem the Spirite of grace and of compassion, and they shall looke vpon me, whom they haue pearced, and they shall lament for him, as one mourneth for his onely sonne, and be sorie for him as one is sorie for his first borne.
