In so much that the Philistims stopped and filled vp with earth all the welles, which his fathers seruantes digged in his father Abrahams time.

Afterwarde they digged another well, and stroue for that also, and he called the name of it Sitnah.

Now Pharaoh heard this matter, & sought to slay Moses: therefore Moses fled from Pharaoh, and dwelt in the lande of Midian, and hee sate downe by a well.

A reproofe entereth more into him that hath vnderstanding, then an hundreth stripes into a foole.

Open rebuke is better then secret loue.
