Seest thou a man wise in his owne conceite? more hope is of a foole then of him.

Yet thou saiest, Because I am giltles, surely his wrath shall turne from mee: beholde, I will enter with thee into iudgement, because thou saiest, I haue not sinned.

I tell you, this man departed to his house iustified, rather then the other: for euery man that exalteth himselfe, shall be brought lowe, and he that humbleth himselfe, shalbe exalted.

For if we sinne willingly after that we haue receiued & acknowledged that trueth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sinnes,
