Least thou giue thine honor vnto others, and thy yeeres to the cruell:

He that loueth instruction, loueth knowledge: but he that hateth correction, is a foole.

A foole despiseth his fathers instruction: but he that regardeth correction, is prudent.

Many reuerence the face of the prince, and euery man is friend to him that giueth giftes.

Wee lie downe in our confusion, and our shame couereth vs: for we haue sinned against the Lorde our God, we and our fathers from our youth, euen vnto this day, and haue not obeyed the voyce of the Lord our God.

See that ye despise not him that speaketh: for if they escaped not which refused him, that spake on earth: much more shall we not escape, if we turne away from him, that speaketh fro heauen.
