So Abigail came to Nabal, and behold, he made a feast in his house, like the feast of a King, and Nabals heart was mery within him, for he was very drunken: wherefore shee tolde him nothing, neither lesse nor more, vntil the morning arose.

Then Adoniiah the sonne of Haggith exalted himselfe, saying, I will be King; he gate him charets and horsemen, and fiftie men to run before him.

The beginning of strife is as one that openeth the waters: therefore or the contention be medled with, leaue off.

Prepare thy worke without, and make readie thy thinges in the fielde, and after, builde thine house.

An angrie man stirreth vp strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.

For the wrath of man doeth not accomplish the righteousnesse of God.
