The glorie of God is to conceale a thing secret: but the Kings honour is to search out a thing.

Let another man prayse thee, and not thine owne mouth: a stranger, and not thine owne lips.

It is not expedient for me no doubt to reioyce: for I will come to visions and reuelations of the Lorde.

That nothing be done through contention or vaine glory, but that in meekenesse of minde euery man esteeme other better then himselfe.
