Back to passage

Speake no more presumptuously: let not arrogancie come out of your mouth: for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him enterprises are established.

For thou art not a God that loueth wickednes: neither shall euill dwell with thee.

I wil set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the worke of them that fall away: it shal not cleaue vnto me.

Therefore I esteeme all thy precepts most iust, and hate all false wayes.

Put away from thee a froward mouth, and put wicked lippes farre from thee.

These sixe things doeth the Lorde hate: yea, his soule abhorreth seuen:

The mouth of the iust shall be fruitfull in wisdome: but the tongue of the froward shall be cut out.

By mercy and trueth iniquitie shalbe forgiuen, and by the feare of the Lorde they depart from euill.

Amos 5:15 TSK

Hate the euil, and loue the good, and establish iudgement in the gate: it may bee that the Lorde God of hostes will be mercifull vnto the remnant of Ioseph.

And let none of you imagine euill in your hearts against his neighbour, and loue no false othe: for all these are the things that I hate, saith the Lorde.

Likewise ye yonger, submit your selues vnto the elders, & submit your selues euery man, one to another: decke your selues inwardly in lowlinesse of minde: for God resisteth the proude, and giueth grace to the humble.
