Professional Musicians These are the men David put in charge of music in the LORD’s sanctuary, after the ark was placed there.

David Appoints Worship Leaders David left Asaph and his colleagues there before the ark of the LORD’s covenant to serve before the ark regularly and fulfill each day’s requirements,

David Organizes the Musicians David and the army officers selected some of the sons of Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun to prophesy as they played stringed instruments and cymbals. The following men were assigned this responsibility:

The People Contribute to the Temple Hezekiah appointed the divisions of the priests and Levites to do their assigned tasks– to offer burnt sacrifices and present offerings and to serve, give thanks, and offer praise in the gates of the LORD’s sanctuary.

A song of ascents. Attention! Praise the LORD, all you servants of the LORD, who serve in the LORD’s temple during the night.

O family of Israel, praise the LORD! O family of Aaron, praise the LORD!
