TSK · 1 Peter 4:18

(Now the people of Sodom were extremely wicked rebels against the LORD.)

Not so with the wicked! Instead they are like wind-driven chaff.

For take note, I am already beginning to bring disaster on the city that I call my own. So how can you possibly avoid being punished? You will not go unpunished! For I am proclaiming war against all who live on the earth. I, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, affirm it!’

Then I will bring the remaining third into the fire; I will refine them like silver is refined and will test them like gold is tested. They will call on my name and I will answer; I will say,‘These are my people,’ and they will say,‘The LORD is my God.’”

And if the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would be saved. But because of the elect, whom he chose, he has cut them short.

For if such things are done when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?”

and said,‘Do not be afraid, Paul! You must stand before Caesar, and God has graciously granted you the safety of all who are sailing with you.’

Now the soldiers’ plan was to kill the prisoners so that none of them would escape by swimming away.

For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.

So let the one who thinks he is standing be careful that he does not fall.

But my righteous one will live by faith, and if he shrinks back, I take no pleasure in him.

and if he did not spare the ancient world, but did protect Noah, a herald of righteousness, along with seven others, when God brought a flood on an ungodly world,

to execute judgment on all, and to convict every person of all their thoroughly ungodly deeds that they have committed, and of all the harsh words that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”
