TSK · 2 Chronicles 2:5

Who is like you, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like you?– majestic in holiness, fearful in praises, working wonders?

This temple will become a heap of ruins; everyone who passes by it will be shocked and will hiss out their scorn, saying,‘Why did the LORD do this to this land and this temple?’

The People Contribute to the Project King David said to the entire assembly:“My son Solomon, the one whom God has chosen, is just an inexperienced young man, and the task is great, for this palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.

to supply me with large quantities of timber, for I am building a great, magnificent temple.

My sons, do not be negligent now, for the LORD has chosen you to stand in his presence, to minister to him, to be his ministers, and offer sacrifices.”

Yes, I know the LORD is great, and our Lord is superior to all gods.

Praise him, O highest heaven, and you waters above the sky!

I said,“There is no one like you, LORD. You are great. And you are renowned for your power.

– whose appearing the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, will reveal at the right time.
