TSK · 2 Samuel 8:4

The LORD told Joshua,“Don’t be afraid of them, for about this time tomorrow I will cause all of them to lie dead before Israel. You must hamstring their horses and burn their chariots.”

Solomon accumulated chariots and horses. He had 1,400 chariots and 12,000 horses. He kept them in assigned cities and in Jerusalem.

Some trust in chariots and others in horses, but we depend on the LORD our God.
