Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus into the governor’s residence and gathered the whole cohort around him.

Jesus is Mocked So the soldiers led him into the palace(that is, the governor’s residence) and called together the whole cohort.

So Judas obtained a squad of soldiers and some officers of the chief priests and Pharisees. They came to the orchard with lanterns and torches and weapons.

Philip, however, found himself at Azotus, and as he passed through the area, he proclaimed the good news to all the towns until he came to Caesarea.

When they had stretched him out for the lash, Paul said to the centurion standing nearby,“Is it legal for you to lash a man who is a Roman citizen without a proper trial?”

When the horsemen came to Caesarea and delivered the letter to the governor, they also presented Paul to him.

Festus Asks King Agrippa for Advice After several days had passed, King Agrippa and Bernice arrived at Caesarea to pay their respects to Festus.

Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers,“Unless these men stay with the ship, you cannot be saved.”
