So Samuel told him everything. He did not hold back anything from him. Eli said,“The LORD will do what he pleases.”

Hezekiah said to Isaiah,“The LORD’s message which you have announced is appropriate.” Then he added,“At least there will be peace and stability during my lifetime.”

Going a little farther, he threw himself down with his face to the ground and prayed,“My Father, if possible, let this cup pass from me! Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

So he said to them,“When you pray, say: Father, may your name be honored; may your kingdom come.
