TSK · Deuteronomy 14:2

And now, if you will diligently listen to me and keep my covenant, then you will be my special possession out of all the nations, for all the earth is mine,

“Speak to the whole congregation of the Israelites and tell them,‘You must be holy because I, the LORD your God, am holy.

You must be holy to me because I, the LORD, am holy, and I have set you apart from the other peoples to be mine.

The Basis of Israel’s Election It is not because you were more numerous than all the other peoples that the LORD favored and chose you– for in fact you were the least numerous of all peoples.

And today the LORD has declared you to be his special people(as he already promised you) so you may keep all his commandments.

Even if only a tenth of the people remain in the land, it will again be destroyed, like one of the large sacred trees or an Asherah pole, when a sacred pillar on a high place is thrown down. That sacred pillar symbolizes the special chosen family.”

“Son of man, turn toward Jerusalem and speak out against the sanctuaries. Prophesy against the land of Israel

Then I heard the man clothed in linen who was over the waters of the river as he raised both his right and left hands to the sky and made an oath by the one who lives forever:“It is for a time, times, and half a time. Then, when the power of the one who shatters the holy people has been exhausted, all these things will be finished.”

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
