Jacob Cheats Esau out of the Blessing When Isaac was old and his eyes were so weak that he was almost blind, he called his older son Esau and said to him,“My son!”“Here I am!” Esau replied.

He said to them,“Today I am a hundred and twenty years old. I am no longer able to get about, and the LORD has said to me,‘You will not cross the Jordan.’

Today I am still as strong as when Moses sent me out. I can fight and go about my daily activities with the same energy I had then.

So they proclaim that the LORD, my protector, is just and never unfair.
