Have a people ever heard the voice of God speaking from the middle of fire, as you yourselves have, and lived to tell about it?
The LORD spoke face to face with you at the mountain, from the middle of the fire.
The LORD gave me the two stone tablets, written by the very finger of God, and on them was everything he said to you at the mountain from the midst of the fire at the time of that assembly.
After the earthquake, there was a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. After the fire, there was a soft whisper.
A voice cries out,“In the wilderness clear a way for the LORD; build a level road through the rift valley for our God.
To whom can you compare God? To what image can you liken him?
And a voice from heaven said,“This is my one dear Son; in him I take great delight.”
Father, glorify your name.” Then a voice came from heaven,“I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.”
For he received honor and glory from God the Father, when that voice was conveyed to him by the Majestic Glory:“This is my dear Son, in whom I am delighted.”
