and I said to you,‘Let my son go that he may serve me,’ but since you have refused to let him go, I will surely kill your son, your firstborn!”’”

He said,“Tomorrow.” And Moses said,“It will be as you say, so that you may know that there is no one like the LORD our God.

The LORD set an appointed time, saying,“Tomorrow the LORD will do this in the land.”

Moses said,“This is what the LORD has said:‘About midnight I will go throughout Egypt,

What the gazam-locust left the‘arbeh-locust consumed, what the‘arbeh-locust left the yeleq-locust consumed, and what the yeleq-locust left the hasil-locust consumed!

I will make up for the years that the‘arbeh-locust consumed your crops– the yeleq-locust, the hasil-locust, and the gazam-locust– my great army that I sent against you.
