The angel of God, who was going before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them, and the pillar of cloud moved from before them and stood behind them.

As Aaron spoke to the whole community of the Israelites and they looked toward the wilderness, there the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud,

You are to put the atonement lid on top of the ark, and in the ark you are to put the testimony I am giving you.

And whenever Moses entered the tent, the pillar of cloud would descend and stand at the entrance of the tent, and the LORD would speak with Moses.

The Leading of the Lord On the day that the tabernacle was set up, the cloud covered the tabernacle– the tent of the testimony– and from evening until morning there was a fiery appearance over the tabernacle.

The priests could not carry out their duties because of the cloud; the LORD’s glory filled his temple.

The priests were unable to enter the LORD’s temple because the LORD’s splendor filled the LORD’s temple.

O LORD, I love the temple where you live, the place where your splendor is revealed.

The sound of their voices shook the door frames, and the temple was filled with smoke.

The glory of the LORD came into the temple by way of the gate that faces east.

I will also shake up all the nations, and they will offer their treasures; then I will fill this temple with glory.” So the LORD of Heaven’s Armies has said.

and the temple was filled with smoke from God’s glory and from his power. Thus no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues from the seven angels were completed.

The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God lights it up, and its lamp is the Lamb.
