Then Pharaoh commanded all his people,“All sons that are born you must throw into the river, but all daughters you may let live.”

But Pharaoh said,“Who is the LORD that I should obey him by releasing Israel? I do not know the LORD, and I will not release Israel!”

Then the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD, when I extend my hand over Egypt and bring the Israelites out from among them.

The prophet visited the king of Israel and said,“This is what the LORD has said:‘Because the Syrians said,“The LORD is a god of the mountains and not a god of the valleys,” I will deliver this entire huge army into to your control. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

The LORD revealed himself; he accomplished justice; the wicked were ensnared by their own actions.(Higgaion. Selah)

Then they will know that you alone are the LORD, the Most High over all the earth.

The land of Egypt will become a desolate ruin. Then they will know that I am the LORD. Because he said,“The Nile is mine and I made it,”

I will execute judgments on Egypt. Then they will know that I am the LORD.’”

When I turn the land of Egypt into desolation and the land is destitute of everything that fills it, when I strike all those who live in it, then they will know that I am the LORD.’

Then they will know that I am the LORD their God, because I sent them into exile among the nations, and then gathered them into their own land. I will not leave any of them in exile any longer.

You will be driven from human society, and you will live with the wild animals. You will be fed grass like oxen, and seven periods of time will pass by for you before you understand that the Most High is ruler over human kingdoms and gives them to whomever he wishes.”

He was driven from human society, his mind was changed to that of an animal, he lived with the wild donkeys, he was fed grass like oxen, and his body became damp with the dew of the sky, until he came to understand that the most high God rules over human kingdoms, and he appoints over them whomever he wishes.

Then the second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain of burning fire was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea became blood,

Next, the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea and it turned into blood, like that of a corpse, and every living creature that was in the sea died.
