And the LORD said,“If as one people all sharing a common language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be beyond them.

The man replied,“Who made you a ruler and a judge over us? Are you planning to kill me like you killed that Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid, thinking,“Surely what I did has become known.”

The Philistine said to David,“Come here to me, so I can give your flesh to the birds of the sky and the wild animals of the field!”

Whoever corrects a mocker is asking for insult; whoever reproves a wicked person receives abuse.

It is better for a person to meet a mother bear being robbed of her cubs, than to encounter a fool in his folly.

This is the unfortunate fact about everything that happens on earth: the same fate awaits everyone. In addition to this, the hearts of all people are full of evil, and there is folly in their hearts during their lives– then they die.
