Then Rachel and Leah replied to him,“Do we still have any portion or inheritance in our father’s house?

But you who remained faithful to the LORD your God are still alive to this very day, every one of you.

But you must be loyal to the LORD your God, as you have been to this very day.

Listen, O princess! Observe and pay attention! Forget your homeland and your family!

The Wife of Noble Character Who can find a wife of noble character? For her value is far more than rubies.

Then some Pharisees came to him in order to test him. They asked,“Is it lawful to divorce a wife for any cause?”

When he came and saw the grace of God, he rejoiced and encouraged them all to remain true to the Lord with devoted hearts,

Or do you not know that anyone who is united with a prostitute is one body with her? For it is said,“The two will become one flesh.”

To the married I give this command– not I, but the Lord– a wife should not divorce a husband

So I want younger women to marry, raise children, and manage a household, in order to give the adversary no opportunity to vilify us.
