TSK · Genesis 47:12

God sent me ahead of you to preserve you on the earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

I will provide you with food there because there will be five more years of famine. Otherwise you would become poor– you, your household, and everyone who belongs to you.”’

Joseph made all the people slaves from one end of Egypt’s border to the other end of it.

So now, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your little children.” Then he consoled them and spoke kindly to them.

He will encourage you and provide for you when you are old, for your daughter-in-law, who loves you, has given him birth. She is better to you than seven sons!”

For God said,‘Honor your father and mother’ and‘Whoever insults his father or mother must be put to death.’

although we could have imposed our weight as apostles of Christ; instead we became little children among you. Like a nursing mother caring for her own children,

But if a widow has children or grandchildren, they should first learn to fulfill their duty toward their own household and so repay their parents what is owed them. For this is what pleases God.
