God created humankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them.

From Adam to Noah This is the record of the family line of Adam.When God created humankind, he made them in the likeness of God.

Personal Injuries“Whoever strikes someone so that he dies must surely be put to death.

but has not brought it to the entrance of the Meeting Tent to present it as an offering to the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD. He has shed blood, so that man will be cut off from the midst of his people.

“But if he hits someone with an iron tool so that he dies, he is a murderer. The murderer must surely be put to death.

“You must not pollute the land where you live, for blood defiles the land, and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed there, except by the blood of the person who shed it.

Surely when wicked men have killed an innocent man as he slept in his own house, should I not now require his blood from your hands and remove you from the earth?”

Do to him what you think is appropriate, but don’t let him live long and die a peaceful death.

When the news reached Joab(for Joab had supported Adonijah, although he had not supported Absalom), he ran to the tent of the LORD and grabbed hold of the horns of the altar.

They seized her and took her into the precincts of the royal palace through the horses’ entrance. There she was executed.

His servants conspired against him and killed him in his palace.

Then Jesus said to him,“Put your sword back in its place! For all who take hold of the sword will die by the sword.

With it we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse people made in God’s image.
