All along the way I, the LORD your God, have blessed your every effort. I have been attentive to your travels through this great wilderness. These forty years I have been with you; you have lacked for nothing.’”

The LORD found him in a desolate land, in an empty wasteland where animals howl. He continually guarded him and taught him; he continually protected him like the pupil of his eye.

I will be happy and rejoice in your faithfulness, because you notice my pain and you are aware of how distressed I am.
