TSK · Isaiah 12:2

The LORD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

By David. The LORD delivers and vindicates me! I fear no one! The LORD protects my life! I am afraid of no one!

Our God is a God who delivers; the LORD, the sovereign Lord, can rescue from death.

Then they will know that you alone are the LORD, the Most High over all the earth.

I will give you thanks, for you answered me, and have become my deliverer.

For a child has been born to us, a son has been given to us. He shoulders responsibility and is called: Amazing Adviser, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Each of them will be like a shelter from the wind and a refuge from a rainstorm; like streams of water in a dry region and like the shade of a large cliff in a parched land.

The LORD is about to deliver me, and we will celebrate with music for the rest of our lives in the LORD’s temple.”

Turn to me so you can be delivered, all you who live in the earth’s remote regions! For I am God, and I have no peer.

“I, I am the one who consoles you. Why are you afraid of mortal men, of mere human beings who are as short-lived as grass?

We know our noisy worship of false gods on the hills and mountains did not help us. We know that the LORD our God is the only one who can deliver Israel.

But I will have pity on the nation of Judah. I will deliver them by the LORD their God; I will not deliver them by the warrior’s bow, by sword, by military victory, by chariot horses, or by chariots.”

She will give birth to a son and you will name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

The Power of the Gospel For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
