TSK · Isaiah 28:9

For you hate instruction and reject my words.

Because they hated moral knowledge, and did not choose to fear the LORD,

They say to the visionaries,“See no more visions!” and to the seers,“Don’t relate messages to us about what is right! Tell us nice things; relate deceptive messages.

This is what the LORD, your protector, says, the Holy One of Israel:“I am the LORD your God, who teaches you how to succeed, who leads you in the way you should go.

Who would have believed what we just heard? When was the LORD’s power revealed through him?

The prophets prophesy lies. The priests exercise power by their own authority. And my people love to have it this way. But they will not be able to help you when the time of judgment comes!

Jesus’ Invitation At that time Jesus said,“I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and have revealed them to little children.

I tell you the truth, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.”

so that the word of the prophet Isaiah would be fulfilled. He said,“Lord, who has believed our message, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

And yearn like newborn infants for pure, spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up to salvation,
