Let the sea and everything in it shout! Let the fields and everything in them celebrate!

He gave me reason to sing a new song, praising our God. May many see what God has done, so that they might swear allegiance to him and trust in the LORD!

Let the sky rejoice, and the earth be happy! Let the sea and everything in it shout!

A psalm. Sing to the LORD a new song, for he performs amazing deeds! His right hand and his mighty arm accomplish deliverance.

Praise the LORD, all you nations! Applaud him, all you foreigners!

Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!

So in the east extol the LORD, along the seacoasts extol the fame of the LORD God of Israel.

Shout for joy, O sky, for the LORD intervenes; shout out, you subterranean regions of the earth. O mountains, give a joyful shout; you too, O forest and all your trees! For the LORD protects Jacob; he reveals his splendor through Israel.

Shout for joy, O sky! Rejoice, O earth! Let the mountains give a joyful shout! For the LORD consoles his people and shows compassion to the oppressed.

Indeed, the coastlands look eagerly for me, the large ships are in the lead, bringing your sons from far away, along with their silver and gold, to honor the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has bestowed honor on you.

The LORD will terrify them, for he will weaken all the gods of the earth. All the distant nations will worship the LORD in their own lands.

They were singing a new song:“You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals because you were killed, and at the cost of your own blood you have purchased for God persons from every tribe, language, people, and nation.
