O LORD, when you departed from Seir, when you marched from Edom’s plains, the earth shook, the heavens poured down, the clouds poured down rain.

He made the sky sink as he descended; a thick cloud was under his feet.

Pour out your anger on the nations that do not acknowledge you, on the kingdoms that do not pray to you!

The Lord Will Distinguish Between Sinners and the Godly“I made myself available to those who did not ask for me; I appeared to those who did not look for me. I said,‘Here I am! Here I am!’ to a nation that did not invoke my name.

Why should you be like someone who is helpless, like a champion who cannot save anyone? You are indeed with us, and we belong to you. Do not abandon us!”

O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, pay attention, and act! Don’t delay, for your own sake, O my God! For your city and your people are called by your name.”

who are Israelites. To them belong the adoption as sons, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the temple worship, and the promises.
