Back to passage

Why should the Egyptians say,‘For evil he led them out to kill them in the mountains and to destroy them from the face of the earth’? Turn from your burning anger, and relent of this evil against your people.

Is this how you repay the LORD, you foolish, unwise people? Is he not your father, your Creator? He has made you and established you.

A well-written song by Asaph. Why, O God, have you permanently rejected us? Why does your anger burn against the sheep of your pasture?

Acknowledge that the LORD is God! He made us and we belong to him; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

The LORD avenges me. O LORD, your loyal love endures. Do not abandon those whom you have made!

everyone who belongs to me, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed– yes, whom I made!

Remember these things, O Jacob, O Israel, for you are my servant. I formed you to be my servant; O Israel, I will not forget you!

The Lord Gives a Warning One who argues with his Creator is in grave danger, one who is like a mere shard among the other shards on the ground! The clay should not say to the potter,“What in the world are you doing? Your work lacks skill!”

He said,“Certainly they will be my people, children who are not disloyal.” He became their deliverer.

“Go down at once to the potter’s house. I will speak to you further there.”

For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith.

For we are his creative work, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we can do them.
