But the LORD saw that the wickedness of humankind had become great on the earth. Every inclination of the thoughts of their minds was only evil all the time.

He had so many sheep and cattle and such a great household of servants that the Philistines became jealous of him.

His brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept in mind what Joseph said.

Moses said to him,“Are you jealous for me? I wish that all the LORD’s people were prophets, that the LORD would put his Spirit on them!”

In the camp they resented Moses, and Aaron, the LORD’s holy priest.

And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, proclaimed the gospel to Abraham ahead of time, saying,“All the nations will be blessed in you.”
