and to keep the LORD’s commandments and statutes that I am giving you today for your own good?

If you sin, how does it affect God? If your transgressions are many, what does it do to him?

I say to the LORD,“You are the Lord, my only source of well-being.”

Wisdom is supreme– so acquire wisdom, and whatever you acquire, acquire understanding!

Wisdom Can Lengthen One’s Life Wisdom, like an inheritance, is a good thing; it benefits those who see the light of day.

So you too, when you have done everything you were commanded to do, should say,‘We are slaves undeserving of special praise; we have only done what was our duty.’”
