TSK · John 1:5

“How long will you simpletons love naiveté? How long have mockers delighted in mockery? And how long will fools hate knowledge?

He was in the world, and the world was created by him, but the world did not recognize him.

While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become sons of light.” When Jesus had said these things, he went away and hid himself from them.

The unbeliever does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him. And he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
