They said to the whole community of the Israelites,“The land we passed through to investigate is an exceedingly good land.

So Joshua said to the Israelites:“How long do you intend to put off occupying the land the LORD God of your ancestors has given you?

Be strong! Let’s fight bravely for the sake of our people and the cities of our God! The LORD will do what he decides is best!”

So now, look, the LORD has placed a lying spirit in the mouths of all these prophets of yours, but the LORD has decreed disaster for you.”
