“But your eyes are blessed because they see, and your ears because they hear.

John answered them all,“I baptize you with water, but one more powerful than I am is coming– I am not worthy to untie the strap of his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Then Jesus turned to his disciples and said privately,“Blessed are the eyes that see what you see!

I became a servant of the church according to the stewardship from God– given to me for you– in order to complete the word of God,

Concerning this salvation, the prophets who predicted the grace that would come to you searched and investigated carefully.
