You complained among yourselves privately and said,“Because the LORD hates us he brought us from Egypt to deliver us over to the Amorites so they could destroy us!

After he went out, that same slave found one of his fellow slaves who owed him one hundred silver coins. So he grabbed him by the throat and started to choke him, saying,‘Pay back what you owe me!’

It could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor!”
