For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say,‘He has a demon!’

Breaking Human Traditions Then Pharisees and experts in the law came from Jerusalem to Jesus and said,

Healing and Forgiving a Paralytic Now on one of those days, while he was teaching, there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting nearby(who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem), and the power of the Lord was with him to heal.

The crowd answered,“You’re possessed by a demon! Who is trying to kill you?”

Then the Judeans responded,“Now we know you’re possessed by a demon! Both Abraham and the prophets died, and yet you say,‘If anyone obeys my teaching, he will never experience death.’
