TSK · Mark 8:33

The serpent said to the woman,“Surely you will not die,

But David said,“What do we have in common, you sons of Zeruiah? You are like my enemy today! Should anyone be put to death in Israel today? Don’t I know that today I am king over Israel?”

May the godly strike me in love and correct me! May my head not refuse choice oil! Indeed, my prayer is a witness against their evil deeds.

Then Jesus said to him,“Go away, Satan! For it is written:‘You are to worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’”

But he did not answer her a word. Then his disciples came and begged him,“Send her away, because she keeps on crying out after us.”

And looking at those who were sitting around him in a circle, he said,“Here are my mother and my brothers!

But Jesus turned and rebuked them,

For those who live according to the flesh have their outlook shaped by the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit have their outlook shaped by the things of the Spirit.

Their end is destruction, their god is the belly, they exult in their shame, and they think about earthly things.

Such testimony is true. For this reason rebuke them sharply that they may be healthy in the faith

So, since Christ suffered in the flesh, you also arm yourselves with the same attitude, because the one who has suffered in the flesh has finished with sin,

All those I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent!
