You have kept your word to your servant, my father David; this very day you have fulfilled what you promised.

He stayed there until Herod died. In this way what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet was fulfilled:“I called my Son out of Egypt.”

Fulfillment of the Law and Prophets“Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have not come to abolish these things but to fulfill them.

This fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah:

This fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet:“I will open my mouth in parables, I will announce what has been hidden from the foundation of the world.”

Jesus’ Final Commission Then he said to them,“These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and the psalms must be fulfilled.”

so that the word of the prophet Isaiah would be fulfilled. He said,“Lord, who has believed our message, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

When I was with them I kept them safe and watched over them in your name that you have given me. Not one of them was lost except the one destined for destruction, so that the scripture could be fulfilled.

For these things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled,“Not a bone of his will be broken.”

For the people who live in Jerusalem and their rulers did not recognize him, and they fulfilled the sayings of the prophets that are read every Sabbath by condemning him.
