Jonah 4:8 TSK

When the sun began to shine, God sent a hot east wind. So the sun beat down on Jonah’s head, and he grew faint. So he despaired of life, and said,“I would rather die than live!”

You also say,‘How tiresome it is.’ You turn up your nose at it,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies,“and instead bring what is stolen, lame, or sick. You bring these things for an offering! Should I accept this from you?” asks the LORD.

And when you see the south wind blowing, you say,‘There will be scorching heat,’ and there is.

but he answered his father,‘Look! These many years I have worked like a slave for you, and I never disobeyed your commands. Yet you never gave me even a goat so that I could celebrate with my friends!

namely, the righteousness of God through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction,

Since God is one, he will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.

Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God on behalf of my fellow Israelites is for their salvation.

To the present hour we are hungry and thirsty, poorly clothed, brutally treated, and without a roof over our heads.

namely, that through the gospel the Gentiles are fellow heirs, fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus.
