If anyone says anything to you, you are to say,‘The Lord needs them,’ and he will send them at once.”

Nor are you to be called‘teacher,’ for you have one teacher, the Christ.

Immediately he went up to Jesus and said,“Greetings, Rabbi,” and kissed him.

He sent two of his disciples and told them,“Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him.

Day after day when I was with you in the temple courts, you did not arrest me. But this is your hour, and that of the power of darkness!”

You go up to the feast yourselves. I am not going up to this feast because my time has not yet fully arrived.”

And when she had said this, Martha went and called her sister Mary, saying privately,“The Teacher is here and is asking for you.”

Washing the Disciples’ Feet Just before the Passover Feast, Jesus knew that his time had come to depart from this world to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now loved them to the very end.

Jesus said to her,“Mary.” She turned and said to him in Aramaic,“Rabboni”(which means Teacher).
