You want to humiliate the oppressed, even though the LORD is their shelter.

My enemies’ taunts cut into me to the bone, as they say to me all day long,“Where is your God?”

Don’t let Hezekiah talk you into trusting in the LORD by saying,“The LORD will certainly rescue us; this city will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.”

“Tell King Hezekiah of Judah this:‘Don’t let your God in whom you trust mislead you when he says,“Jerusalem will not be handed over to the king of Assyria.”

For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

The Father and I are one.”

The Jewish leaders replied,“We have a law, and according to our law he ought to die, because he claimed to be the Son of God!”
