eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,

Between her feet he collapsed, he fell limp and was lifeless; between her feet he collapsed and fell, in the spot where he collapsed, there he fell– violently killed!

You prove to be loyal to one who is faithful; you prove to be trustworthy to one who is innocent.

“But I will repay Babylon and all who live in Babylonia for all the wicked things they did in Zion right before the eyes of you Judeans,” says the LORD.

And he said to them,“Take care about what you hear. The measure you use will be the measure you receive, and more will be added to you.

My point is this: The person who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the person who sows generously will also reap generously.

For judgment is merciless for the one who has shown no mercy. But mercy triumphs over judgment.
