A Letter That Caused Sadness I have great confidence in you; I take great pride on your behalf. I am filled with encouragement; I am overflowing with joy in the midst of all our suffering.

For God is my witness that I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus.

Christian Practices So then, my brothers and sisters, dear friends whom I long to see, my joy and crown, stand in the Lord in this way, my dear friends!

So in all our distress and affliction, we were reassured about you, brothers and sisters, through your faith.

I have sent him(who is my very heart) back to you.

But whoever has the world’s possessions and sees his fellow Christian in need and shuts off his compassion against him, how can the love of God reside in such a person?
