You prove to be reliable to one who is blameless, but you prove to be deceptive to one who is perverse.

A worthless and wicked person walks around saying perverse things;

The one who winks his eye causes trouble, and the one who speaks foolishness will come to ruin.

The speech of the righteous bears the fruit of wisdom, but the one who speaks perversion will be destroyed.

Words and Works of Wise Men and Fools The words of a wise person win him favor, but the words of a fool are self-destructive.
