For our enemies’ rock is not like our Rock, as even our enemies concede.

They trust in their wealth and boast in their great riches.

Yet God will make you a permanent heap of ruins. He will scoop you up and remove you from your home; he will uproot you from the land of the living.(Selah)

The wealth of a rich person is like a fortified city, but the poor are brought to ruin by their poverty.

A rich person is wise in his own opinion, but a discerning poor person can evaluate him properly.

Tell your daughters and neighbors,‘The LORD says,“The dead bodies of people will lie scattered everywhere like manure scattered on a field. They will lie scattered on the ground like grain that has been cut down but has not been gathered.”’”
