Job 5:27 TSK

Look, we have investigated this, so it is true. Hear it, and apply it for your own good.”

I was once young, now I am old. I have never seen a godly man abandoned, or his children forced to search for food.

Go to the ant, you sluggard; observe its ways and be wise!

Wisdom is found in the words of the discerning person, but the one who lacks sense will be disciplined.

The appetite of the sluggard craves but gets nothing, but the desire of the diligent will be abundantly satisfied.

Exceptions to the Law of Retribution During the days of my fleeting life I have seen both of these things: Sometimes a righteous person dies prematurely in spite of his righteousness, and sometimes a wicked person lives long in spite of his evil deeds.
