The LORD found him in a desolate land, in an empty wasteland where animals howl. He continually guarded him and taught him; he continually protected him like the pupil of his eye.

Your rules remain just. Give me insight so that I can live.

Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; protect it, because it is your life.

Then Jeremiah answered,“You will not be handed over to them. Please obey the LORD by doing what I have been telling you. Then all will go well with you and your life will be spared.

For I have not spoken from my own authority, but the Father himself who sent me has commanded me what I should say and what I should speak.

You are my friends if you do what I command you.

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been fathered by God, and everyone who loves the father loves the child fathered by him.
